Machine/Electrical -Maintenance

We are hiring for Electrical Maintenance Engineer

As a multi skilled maintenance engineer you will be responsible for all software-controlled machines/ equipment, process and devices within the plant. Improve equipment reliability by increasing the mean time between failure (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR). You will be expected to support your team and production colleagues in ensuring down time is minimised through preventive action and prioritising break downs. Working in collaboration with your team and production colleagues, you will strive to continually improve the maintenance service.

General and Task Management

· Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve with minimal downtime.

· Carry out diagnosis of faults, and repairs to all types of control systems in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational.

· Ability to oversee electrical drawing, control and vendor specific activity.

· Estimate length of time required to complete a job and likely consequences of failure to complete. Ensure all the production machines/equipment are in operational condition. irrespective of production plan. If required, work continue until machine up.

· Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.

· Report breakdown root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.

· Identify spares requirements and log usage. Ensure spare part availability and inventory management.

· Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.

· Assist with the moving, installation, repositioning of machines and equipment.

· Plan and prioritise workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.

· Make full use of the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS). Fill in job tickets/log completion of work.

· Work within 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace and hand tools to a high standard.

· Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environmental and quality management procedures are followed and achieve the company’s and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

· Perform root cause analysis and solve problems, independently determined approach and assigned tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
