Machinery Coordinator

We are looking for an Equipment Coordinator with experience in heavy machinery coordination for infrastructure projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for managing equipment hiring, deployment, and utilization to support project operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the hiring, mobilization, and demobilization of heavy equipment as per project requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of hired equipment including rental period, supplier details, rates, and location.
• Negotiate with equipment suppliers and rental companies to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Review equipment quotations, hire agreements, and invoices before approval.
• Ensure hired equipment complies with safety, quality, and RTA standards before mobilization.
• Coordinate with site engineers, logistics, and procurement teams for equipment scheduling and delivery.
• Prepare periodic equipment cost reports, hire summaries, and utilization analysis for management.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proper servicing and documentation of equipment.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 4–7 years of UAE experience in heavy equipment coordination for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of heavy machinery used in road and infrastructure works.
• Knowledge of RTA equipment compliance and operator certification requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and equipment tracking systems.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience working on RTA or major infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Basic understanding of heavy equipment maintenance standards.
• Valid UAE Driving License is an advantage.
