Machinist

CNC Machinist — Full Time Pay: Competitive, based on experience | Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

IntelliFEED, Inc. designs and manufactures high-speed packaging automation equipment. We're a small, hands-on team in Rosemount, MN — just minutes from St. Paul. This is a direct hire position, not an agency listing.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our production team. You'll be setting up, programming, and running CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts that go directly into our machines. Accuracy matters here — our parts have to be right.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Write and edit programs, troubleshoot as needed, and monitor tooling wear
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and workmanship standards
• Maintain quality and safety records, including monthly preventive maintenance
• Manage multiple jobs simultaneously without losing accuracy or falling behind schedule
• Assist with raw material loading and unloading
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of CNC machining experience, or relevant trade/technical school training
• Ability to read blueprints including GD&T
• Solid understanding of machine control, G-code, and cutting tool technology
• Proficient with measurement tools — calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc.
• Technical math skills
• Computer skills for program and file management
• CAD/CAM experience a plus — Mastercam preferred. We're willing to invest in training for the right candidate

Physical requirements

• Standing for most of the shift
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)
