Machinist

MachinistCNC & Lathe Operator responsibilities

Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production

Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects

Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company

Follow all company safety protocol

Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift

Machine set up

Programming skills

Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.

Accurately record time on jobs and projects.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.

Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.

CNC Operator skills

High school diploma/GED required

2+ years’ experience using production machinery

Extensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation required

Must possess strong basic math skills &shop math skills.

Trigonometry helpful.

Proven history of working with gauges and calipers

Physical Requirements

Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling,

Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping,

Repetitive Motions.

Job offers are contingent upon passing a drug screen.
