Machinist - Laith Operation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding, cutting, and grinding safely
• Inspect equipment before and after use
• Follow fire safety procedures and permit systems
• Monitor work areas for fire hazards
• Use protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Coordinate with safety officers and supervisors
• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance tasks
• Operate basic tools and machinery
• Follow supervisor instructions
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
• Load and unload materials
• Report issues or hazards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in mechanical engineering, machining, or a related field
• Proven experience as a CNC operator or lathe technician
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code) is an advantage
• Familiarity with precision measurement instruments
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience manual lathe machines
• Ability to perform minor machine repairs
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

Working Conditions

• Typically works in a manufacturing or workshop environment
• May require standing for long periods
• Use of safety equipment such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection
• Shift work may be required depending on production schedules

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
