Madison Axe Team Member

Come join the Axe-citement! We are adding several individuals, who are looking for part time hours seasonally or for long term positions. We are seeking about 2 individuals to start in early summer and eventually ramp up hours in Fall and Winter.

This position ideally fits individuals who have a flexible lifestyle. Nights and weekends are a major part of the gig. The ability to also work part-time daytime hours during the week for scheduled parties is a plus but not mandatory by any means. Individuals just entering the workforce, already employed and/or in seasonal careers, parents, moonlighters, retiree's, & college students will all find a great fit with us.

Our busiest times include weekends typically (Friday & Saturday evenings all year) and for most positions, you must be willing to work some portion of the weekend shifts regularly or on a rotation.

Weekdays are also very busy during the busy season during and off normal business hours, increasing opportunities for everyone. Holiday parties, family gatherings, and many other reasons for our guests to have fun!

Our scheduling can be flexible to your specific needs and availability.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Interact with our guests promoting safe fun, front of house tasks, serve drinks, teach safe axe throwing and ensure good vibes!
• Assess our guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• At times(seasons) work in a fast-paced environment making decisions promptly collectively and at times individually.
• Understand & ensure safety policies to ensure our guest and team members are inline with expectations.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Teach and train axe throwing, facilitate other games.
• Basic knowledge of bar & restaurant oriented service models
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations. We are carry-in only for Food.
• Relevant training certificate - Safe servers permit will be provided if need be
• Work well with other team members, sharing responsibilities and tasks on a daily basis.
• Minimal Computer & Point of Sale experience needed - training provided
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills - HAVE FUN!
• Maintain safe & clean workplace environments
• Show or learn leadership qualities and capabilities at times leading parties, groups or lead front of house responsibilities.
