Magento Developer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Magento 2 Developer with at least 2 years of professional experience to join our e-commerce development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Magento-based websites and online stores. You will work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and a seamless user experience for our clients.Key Responsibilities

• Development & Customization:
• Develop and customize Magento 2 e-commerce websites (front-end and back-end).
• Create custom themes, modules, and extensions to meet client specifications.
• Module & Extension Management:
• Integrate and configure third-party extensions and modules to enhance functionality.
• Performance Optimization:
• Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and security (e.g., caching strategies, code minification, database optimization).
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and developers to align on requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Troubleshooting & Support:
• Provide technical support, debug issues, and resolve Magento-related errors.
• Maintenance & Upgrades:
• Perform version upgrades, apply security patches, and fix bugs.
• API Integration:
• Integrate Magento with third-party systems and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, ERPs).
• Code Quality:
• Conduct code reviews and deliver clean, well-documented, high-quality code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Magento 2 Developer.
• Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture, customization, and best practices (MVC, Dependency Injection, Service Contracts).
• Proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with MySQL, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of servers like Nexcess, Linode, etc...

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Magento/Adobe Commerce Developer certification.
• Experience with Magento Cloud.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Knockout.js.
• Experience with PWA (Progressive Web Apps).
• Familiarity with headless Magento architectures.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,840.78 - ₹35,359.47 per month
