Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Magento Web Developer to lead the development, customization, and optimization of Magento-based eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Magento (including Magento 2), strong backend and frontend development skills, and experience delivering scalable, high-performance online stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and customization of Magento-based eCommerce websites
• Architect scalable solutions using Magento best practices
• Develop custom modules, extensions, and integrations
• Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, shipping APIs, ERP/CRM systems)
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Manage deployments, version control, and CI/CD processes
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation practices

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Magento (minimum 3+ years in Magento 2)
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with Magento architecture (EAV model, DI, plugins, observers)
• Expertise in REST & GraphQL APIs
• Experience with theme development and UI component customization
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Varnish, Redis)
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch integration
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of security best practices and PCI compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Magento certification (Adobe Commerce Certified Professional)
• Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of PWA and headless commerce architectures
• Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins)

Education & Experience
