Maintanence Technician for Residential Properties

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform maintenance tasks for residential properties. This role involves ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential units through proactive repairs and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical work, with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on residential properties to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Perform repairs involving electrical systems, plumbing, minor carpentry, and painting to maintain property standards.
• Supervise or assist with projects such as residential painting or facility upgrades, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with property management teams to prioritize repairs and communicate progress or delays clearly each day.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Be a team player and help where needed.

Skills

• Experience with electrical systems, including the use of tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices, including residential painting and general repair work.
• Excellent customer service skills to address resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager software for work order management a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
