Maintenance

• Leadership & Operations
  • Lead facility operations team and manage shifts for smooth plant functioning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Equipment, Operation & Maintenance
  • Operate and maintain transformers, UPS, ACBs, starters, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, exhaust & vacuum systems.
  • Conduct preventive and shutdown maintenance as per OEM standards.
• Energy Efficiency Projects
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives such as actuator valve installation, load factor management, and setpoint optimization.
  • Drive Kaizen projects to reduce HVAC and compressor energy losses.
• Inventory & Store Management
  • Manage consumables and critical spare parts, including stock updates, warranty claims, and scrap management.
  • Implement 6S methodology for organized and efficient storage.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Develop and enforce LOTO procedures for electrical, pneumatic, UPS, DG, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure pipeline color coding compliance as per Indian Standards.
  • Oversee safety permits, approvals, and site condition checks before project execution.
• HVAC & Exhaust Systems
  • Conduct PPM for AHUs, cassette units, split units, and chillers.
  • Monitor exhaust system performance (velocity, vibration, CFM) and plan new installations based on production requirements.
• Compressor & Generator Management
  • Perform preventive maintenance on compressors and diesel generators.
  • Monitor leakage rates and resolve pneumatic leaks to avoid energy loss.
• CO2 Plant & Cooling Tower
  • Monitor purity, temperature, and pressure of CO2 gas.
  • Manage cooling tower efficiency by monitoring water consumption, leakage, and water properties (pH, TDS, hardness).
• Project Execution
  • Plan and execute projects through approvals, purchase orders, safety permits, and continuous supervision.
  • Conduct trials post-completion, take measurements, and process billing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facility operations and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, compressors, cooling towers, and DG sets.
• Expertise in preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and energy-saving projects.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
