MAINTENANCE
Position Description: Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs throughout the full-service hotel to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.
Essential Functions
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled
- Respond promptly to guest service requests and maintenance issues
- Maintain pool and spa areas (if applicable) in compliance with safety standards
- Inspect hotel facilities regularly and report issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized manner
- Assist with room inspections to ensure quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Work with outside vendors when necessary
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
Work Environment
This position operates throughout the hotel property, including guest rooms, public areas, and exterior spaces, and may involve exposure to various weather conditions and mechanical equipment.
