Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to keep our environment safe, functional, and efficient. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, comfort, and productivity of our team and customers.

Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Perform repairs using welding techniques, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical skills to address issues promptly
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to diagnose problems accurately
  • Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify electrical faults
  • Manage facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC systems, painting (including residential painting), and general upkeep
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks
  • Supervise or assist with small teams during maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed

Requirements

  • Proven experience with facilities maintenance in manufacturing or residential settings
  • Strong electrical experience complemented by knowledge of schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits
  • Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, plumbing, or HVAC systems
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination
  • Competence with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment for electrical testing
  • Customer service mindset with the ability to prioritize safety while maintaining efficiency

Experience working with electric, carpentry, plumbing, and repairs preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
