Job Summary:

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Herculaneum, MO. As a vital member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our healthcare facility, allowing our patients and staff to thrive in a clean and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances
• Conduct daily inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns
• Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, stairwells, and public restrooms
• Assist with snow removal and landscaping as needed
• Respond to and address any maintenance requests or emergencies in a timely and efficient manner
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  
  

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position with regular working hours and on-call rotation
