Maintenance Associate

The Role
The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and general building issues. Key Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to maintenance requests. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems. • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and HVAC problems and carry out repairs. • Maintain lighting, doors, flooring and general building infrastructure. • The ability to read technical manuals and layouts. • Support office moves, equipment installation and workplace adjustments. • Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs. • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when specialized repair work is required. • Provide input to the maintenance supervisor/manager on recurring issues and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or any MEP discipline. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in MEP maintenance. Preferably in retail. • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and HVAC support. • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test safely. • Good communication skills in English. • Valid UAE Driving license.
