Position

Maintenance & Automation Engineer – Maintenance Department

Reports to

Engineering and Maintenance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the continuity of all electrical, electronic, and automation systems in the tea packaging factory.
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities of production machines.
  • Provide troubleshooting and programming support for PLC, HMI, sensors, drives, and industrial communication systems.
  • Implement, report, and improve planned and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with energy efficiency, electrical safety, and occupational safety standards.
  • Monitor spare parts and maintenance material stocks, and identify requirements.
  • Provide electrical/electronic support during the commissioning of new machines and equipment.
  • Ensure the establishment and operation of the CMMS (Maintenance Management Application) infrastructure.
  • Respond quickly to electrical problems occurring in the factory to minimize production losses.
  • Collaborate with team members and operators to improve maintenance processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical/electronics engineering in maintenance or production facilities.
  • Experienced in food packaging and crating machine automation, project maintenance, and robot automation.
  • Knowledge and experience in PLC (Siemens, Omron, etc.) and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, drives, and motor control systems.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, planned maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs; preferably experienced in maintenance software (CMMS).
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shift work and a fast-paced work environment.
  • Awareness of occupational health and safety practices.
  • For male candidates: completed military service (if applicable).
Authorities
  • Technical decision-making authority in the planning and execution of electrical/electronic maintenance activities.
  • Assigning and directing tasks to relevant maintenance technicians.
  • Providing technical approval and recommendations for spare parts, materials, and service purchases.
  • Developing projects aimed at reducing energy and maintenance costs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Reduction of unplanned downtime.
  • Compliance rate with the planned maintenance schedule.
  • Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
  • Improvements in energy efficiency.
  • Compliance with occupational safety regulations.
