The Maintenance Coordinator reports directly to the Maintenance Manager with some responsibilities assigned by the Asset Management (Reliability) Engineer. The primary responsibilities of this position are crucial for the reliable operation of our maintenance functions. These duties will fill many existing gaps and expand upon the current capabilities of the maintenance department. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Management of Maintenance Storerooms:
Creation, implementation, and management of maintenance stores both in-shop and on-floor by critical equipment.
Ensure the accuracy of physical supplies and (EAM) stock.
Provide speedy delivery of repair parts to the floor.
Especially maintain inventory of critical spares, including high-dollar repair parts and high-demand consumables (laser nozzles, lenses, etc.)
Oversee vendor-managed inventory (VMI).
Ensure proper storage and management of hazardous inventory.
Inventory Control and Parts Issuance:
Issue parts to the shop floor and return unused parts to the storeroom as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.
Shopping part prices and quality with vendors.
Acquiring parts from a local hardware store when needed urgently.
Maintenance Coordination functions:
Maintenance Clerk Functions:
Manage service reports/documents upon completion of vendor work.
Uploading service reports to EAM, updating relevant work order details, and closing the related work orders.
Gather and update work order cost details (internal and external) for IFS integration.
Manage service invoices, getting approval from the management and input in Syteline/forwarded to AP.
Ensure Asset Records are up to date with Parts associations and documents. Auditing when necessary.
