Maintenance Coordinator

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing all maintenance activities for the fleet, ensuring timely repairs, efficient workshop coordination, and accurate maintenance record-keeping. The role acts as a communication link between operations, drivers, and technicians to ensure maximum vehicle uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and register maintenance requests and breakdown reports from drivers or operations.
• Coordinate truck movements to and from workshops efficiently and safely.
• Follow up on repair progress with technicians and workshops to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate and track spare parts requests, approvals, and availability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, service history, and repair reports.
• Communicate real-time truck status updates with the operations team.
• Prepare regular maintenance reports, cost summaries, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and company procedures.
• Support preventive maintenance planning and execution.

• Strong administrative and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good understanding of truck maintenance terminology and basic mechanical concepts.
• Proficient in computer applications, especially MS Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with drivers, technicians, and operations teams.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate maintenance reports.
