Maintenance Coordinator - Parking
The Maintenance Coordinator for Parking ensures daily cleaning and maintenance of the garage is completed. The priority for this position is inclement weather as this position will plow snow and apply de-icing agent as needed. On a day-to-day basis, this position will operate the Tennant sweeper in the garages. This position will maintain grass-cutting and inclement weather equipment as well as inventory all janitorial, cleaning, paint, and other general supplies. This position will also ensure vehicles are fueled and ready for use.
The salary for this position begins at $39,598.00 and is commensurate with education and experience.

Principal Accountabilities
- Garage and parking area cleaning and maintenance
- Grass cutting and landscaping
- Snow removal and other inclement weather related needs for parking areas
- Maintain equipment
- Maintain inventory
- Serve as a back-up to other parking related positions
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years’ maintenance related work experience required
- Must be able to operate a plow, salt truck, grass cutting equipment and other related equipment
- Valid State of Ohio Driver’s license required
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations required
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through and meet deadlines required
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments at the college, and contractors, required
