Summary:
The Engineer (Maintenance Crew) will provide outstanding service by performing tasks to ensure the hotel/property/guest rooms are consistently in proper working condition. They perform repairs and preventative maintenance based on Company Standards and federal laws/regulations to ensure guest and employee safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks promptly.
- Assigned projects include but are not limited to; troubleshoot or replace appliances, televisions, light fixtures, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, dry-wall repair and painting.
- Respond to room calls and guest requests for repairs efficiently in a professional manner.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines diligently.
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards.
- Maintain an accurate and legible log book on daily activities.
- Perform preventative maintenance based on Rosen Standards.
- Must be willing to assist in all areas as needed, including but not limited to all grounds, public spaces, admin spaces and guest rooms.
- Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of related experience and/or training required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong detail oriented skills required.
- Ability to work well as a team in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to lift- up to 50 lbs. consistently and 75 lbs. infrequently.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
