Maintenance Crew (Level 1)

Summary:

The Engineer (Maintenance Crew) will provide outstanding service by performing tasks to ensure the hotel/property/guest rooms are consistently in proper working condition. They perform repairs and preventative maintenance based on Company Standards and federal laws/regulations to ensure guest and employee safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks promptly.
• Assigned projects include but are not limited to; troubleshoot or replace appliances, televisions, light fixtures, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, dry-wall repair and painting.
• Respond to room calls and guest requests for repairs efficiently in a professional manner.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines diligently.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards.
• Maintain an accurate and legible log book on daily activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance based on Rosen Standards.
• Must be willing to assist in all areas as needed, including but not limited to all grounds, public spaces, admin spaces and guest rooms.
• Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
• All other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of related experience and/or training required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong detail oriented skills required.
• Ability to work well as a team in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift- up to 50 lbs. consistently and 75 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
