Maintenance & Electrical Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly competent and technically proficient Maintenance Executive to oversee the full spectrum of mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical maintenance activities within our gold jewelry production facility. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong diagnostic capabilities, preventive maintenance planning, and hands-on repair skills across a wide range of specialized jewelry manufacturing machinery. The role demands independent decision making, technical discipline, and the ability to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Jewelry Production Machinery Maintenance

Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair all specialized machinery, including:

• 3D Printer
• Wax Injection Machine
• Vacuum Casting Machine
• Burnout Oven
• Automatic Casting Unit
• Magnetic Tumbler & Drum Magnet Polisher
• Rolling Machine (Sheet/Wire)
• Buffing & Polishing Motors
• Laser Cutting / Laser Welding Machine
• Electro-Polishing Unit
• Ultrasonic Cleaning Machines
• Hanging Motors, Filing Machines
• CNC Machine / Engraving Machine
• Wire Drawing & Wire Cutting Machine
• Pipe Cutting Machine
• Ball Making & Ball Cutting Machine
• Refinery & Extraction Machines
• Diamond Cutting & Faceting Machines
• Rhodium & Electroplating Machines
• Die Cutting / Punching Machine
• Ammonic Machine

Any additional auxiliary production equipment Tasks include: calibration, lubrication, alignment, bearing checks, belt replacement, motor servicing, mechanical adjustments.

2. Electrical & Electro-Mechanical Systems

• Diagnose and repair issues in electrical control panels, switchgear, DB boards, contactors, relays, timers, limit switches, overload relays.
• Troubleshoot PLC circuits, sensors, thermocouples, heating elements, solenoids.
• Inspect and repair wiring (single-phase / three-phase), cable terminations, grounding, earthing.
• Perform maintenance and rewinding of AC/DC motors when required.
• Manage electrical load distribution, MCB/MCCB settings, and ensure safe power allocation.
• Maintain AC units, cooling systems, exhaust fans, duct fans, ventilation systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot solar panel systems, inverters, and battery packs.

3. CCTV, Security & Surveillance Systems

• Perform routine maintenance of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, recording servers, and network cabling; as per provided guidelines.
• Handle any problems escalated by Management related to the monitoring of CCTV uptime and must also ensure cameras have uninterrupted recording.
• Maintain access control systems, biometric devices, door sensors, fire alarm panels, smoke detectors.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate with vendors for repairs or system upgrades.
• Ensure all factory surveillance systems remain operational and compliant with local regulations.

4. Facility & Utility Maintenance

• Maintain compressors, air lines, water pumps, plumbing systems, and ventilation ducts.
• Ensure proper functioning of all lighting systems, emergency lights, and safety equipment.
• Perform basic civil repairs if required: door hinges, fittings, fixture maintenance.
• Oversee general factory upkeep to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

5. Preventive Maintenance & Documentation

• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules (PM schedules) for all machines and utilities.
• Maintain service logs, breakdown logs, repair reports, job cards, and manual files.
• Keep track of spare parts inventory, reorder levels, and stock usage.
• Prepare and update: Machine manuals, Technical drawings, Electrical schematics, Installation diagrams, Maintenance history reports
• Act as the custodian of all technical documents, CAD drawings, blueprints, and inspection certificates related to the Maintenance department.

6. Coordination with Contractors & Authorities

• Coordinate with machine suppliers, external technicians, contractors, and maintenance service companies.
• Follow up with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, DDA or any required authorities for inspections or compliance matters (as applicable).
• Arrange service visits, AMC schedules, and emergency breakdown support with vendors.
• Support installation, commissioning, relocation, and upgrading of machinery.

7. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with UAE safety standards and factory safety rules.
• Perform risk assessments before critical maintenance tasks.
• Ensure fire safety systems, emergency equipment, alarms, and panels remain active and serviced.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, ITI, or BE/B.Tech preferred.
• Mandatory experience in gold jewelry production machinery maintenance.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and surveillance systems is required.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Capable of working independently and responding quickly to breakdowns.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
