Maintenance Engineer

Job Location: Port Qasim Karachi Pakistan

Industry: Engineering - Production Plant

Machinery: Mechanical, PLC Based CNC Machines, hydraulic press, Pneumatic, Pumps, Welding, Brazing

Product Nature: Mechanical (Mainly Evaporator Production& appliances parts)

Key accountabilities:

• Preventive maintenance Planning
• Operational condition of Plant Machinery
• Recommendation for Ordering of spare parts and selection of supplier
• Team Job Assignments

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance inspections, conduct safety compliance inspections and maintains records of the production equipment
• Analyzes machinery failures determine root cause and make necessary repairs and maintenance
• Responsible for the smooth working of Plant & machinery including Mechanical and Electrical installations.
• Responsible for repair & maintenance of Plant & machinery
• Recommendation for Order and control of spares for the reasonable inventory of the required spares
• Ensure preventive maintenance plan and its complete implementation.
• Ensure Machine downtime within the prescribed limits
• Ensure smooth working of ERP PM Module.
• Prepare reports analyze data and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
• Supervises plant maintenance personnel.
• Ensure proper coordination with other departments and obtain their satisfaction
• Manage the Departmental budget and controlling expenses effectively
• Optimizing the maintenance strategy to have the most uptime with the least cost
• Suggest and implement Kaizen activities

Requirements:

• 02 to 03 Years of maintenance operations Man experience in an engineering-based production firm
• B.E/M.E Mechanical from a reputed institute
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Familiarity in drafting and understanding Mechanical maintenace reports
• Effective communication and people management skills
