Maintenance Engineer

1. JOB PURPOSE

Ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and safety of all production and utility equipment. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and supporting operational efficiency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING/ TECHNICAL SKILLS

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Experience with calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment.

• Familiarity with ERP/Maintenance Management systems is a plus.

• Proficiency in English Language (Spoken and Written).

• Familiarity with RX lab equipment and processes.

1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule and perform routine checks on lens manufacturing equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational reliability.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues; perform timely repairs to restore full functionality.

• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance, efficiency, and reduce defect rates.
• Perform daily equipment preparation, including calibration and technical measurements.

• Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety regulations and company protocols.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.

• Coordinate with and support facility maintenance contractors as required.
