Maintenance Engineer

Machinery & Equipment Maintenance

Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of packaging machines such as:
Pouch packing machines
Printing machines (flexo/rotogravure)
Lamination machines
Slitting & rewinding machines
Blown film / extrusion machines (if applicable)
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults and rectify them promptly.
Ensure proper machine calibration and alignment to maintain product quality.
Preventive Maintenance & Documentation
Prepare and follow Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
Maintain maintenance records, machine history cards, and breakdown reports.
Ensure availability and control of critical spare parts.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with factory safety rules, statutory norms, and legal requirements.
Support audits such as BRCGS, ISO, FSSC, customer audits, and internal audits.
Follow GMP, 5S, and safety practices during maintenance activities.Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of packaging machinery and industrial maintenance
Basic understanding of PLC, electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Awareness of safety, quality, and compliance standards
