Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical Maintenance
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, MCCs, lighting, earthing).
- Monitor power consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with EB/TNEB and external electrical contractors.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms and statutory requirements.
2. Mechanical Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance of machinery, utilities, compressors, pumps, HVAC, and production equipment.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules and reduce breakdowns.
- Coordinate with vendors for spares, AMC, and major repairs.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
3. Civil Maintenance
- Supervise civil works including building maintenance, flooring, roofing, drainage, painting, roads, and sanitation.
- Coordinate with civil contractors for repairs, renovations, and new works.
- Ensure upkeep of factory infrastructure and facilities.
4. Planning & Documentation
- Prepare preventive maintenance plans and maintenance reports.
- Maintain records for breakdowns, spares consumption, AMC, and statutory inspections.
- Assist in annual maintenance budgeting and cost control.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety rules, SOPs, and statutory norms (Factory Act, Electrical Inspectorate, Fire Safety).
- Participate in safety audits and corrective actions.
- Support ISO / EMS / OHS / statutory audits.
6. Team & Coordination
- Guide and supervise technicians, electricians, fitters, and helpers.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and admin teams.
- Train team members on safe work practices and maintenance standards.
Educational Qualification
- BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical (or relevant discipline)
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in plant/factory maintenance
- Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance is mandatory
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of plant maintenance systems
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of statutory and safety requirements
- Vendor and contractor management
- MS Office & basic maintenance software knowledge
- Leadership and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
