Job Summary
Nibav Home Lifts and Elite Elevators are seeking an experienced Assistant Service & Maintenance Manager – Elevators to support and manage Service & Maintenance operations in Hyderabad. This role is critical in ensuring seamless maintenance execution, adherence to safety and quality standards, effective team leadership, and superior customer satisfaction for premium residential and commercial elevator solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Service & Maintenance Operations
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee elevator service and maintenance activities across assigned sites.
- Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and breakdown service plans.
- Ensure timely closure of service calls and compliance with defined SLAs.
- Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Team Leadership & Field Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage supervisors and service technicians.
- Allocate manpower effectively to optimize productivity and response time.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skill enhancement sessions.
- Drive a culture of accountability, customer focus, and technical excellence.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement quality control standards to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and site reviews to ensure compliance with elevator standards and statutory regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, documentation standards, and service protocols.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the escalation point for service-related customer issues.
- Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Provide timely service updates and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure strict compliance with safety norms and company HSE policies.
- Conduct regular safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
- Proactively identify risks and implement preventive safety measures.
Resource & Vendor Management
- Manage tools, spare parts, and service equipment efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and control service-related costs.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and compliance documents.
- Prepare periodic service performance reports and MIS for management review.
- Ensure proper documentation of breakdowns, corrective actions, and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Elevator Service & Maintenance operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems, safety devices, controllers, and regulatory standards.
- Proven experience in team handling and service operations management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications in Elevator Technology, Safety, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
