Role: Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with strong hands-on experience in the sheet metal manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, supporting shop-floor operations, and driving preventive maintenance practices across key production machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, periodic, and breakdown maintenance of sheet metal manufacturing equipment

• Handle maintenance of machines such as:

• Laser cutting machines

• Press brakes

• Welding machines

• Bending machines

• Powder coating lines

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Work with motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and have basic exposure to PLC systems

• Interpret and work from machine manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

• Ensure minimum downtime and support continuous production operations

• Participate in TPM activities, machine audits, and improvement initiatives

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and documentation

• Support installation, commissioning, and stabilization of new machines

• Coordinate closely with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance best practices

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting capability

• Good understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes

• Practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Ability to work independently on breakdowns

• Documentation and reporting discipline

• Willingness to work on the shop floor and in shift-based environments

• Team player with a problem-solving mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
