The Maintenance Engineer operates and maintains stationary engines and mechanical equipment such as air compressors, generators, motors and steam boilers, air handlers to provide utilities such as heat and power for buildings and industrial processes. Informs management of malfunctioning equipment

Visually inspects equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repairs, adjustment or lubrication

Maintains building by performing repairs and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring and other related maintenance activities

Adheres to all hospital policies and procedures

Performs work in a safe manner, follows safety precautions, utilizes all safety equipment

Responds in an appropriate time frame to repair requests
