Hiring: Fire Fighting Maintenance Engineer

Location: Manama, Bahrain
Salary: BD 300 – 500 per month (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fire Fighting Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for fire alarm and fire protection systems under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, site supervision experience, and the ability to manage client coordination while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and civil defence standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Technical Supervision

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of fire protection systems
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, fire pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers, FM200 systems, kitchen suppression systems, and emergency lighting
• Diagnose faults in control panels, detectors, pumps, and related systems
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency service calls
• Conduct site inspections to identify defects and compliance issues
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
• Verify testing and commissioning activities after maintenance or repairs

2. Client & Site Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, shutdown activities, and emergency works
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service quality standards

3. AMC Contract Management

• Manage multiple AMC contracts related to fire alarm and fire fighting systems
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are completed on time
• Monitor contract renewals and service deadlines
• Prepare AMC proposals, quotations, and related documentation

Requirements

• 6–15 years of experience in fire fighting system maintenance
• Strong experience in AMC contract management and site supervision
• Previous experience with fire protection or MEP companies is preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm and fire fighting systems
• Ability to independently manage multiple sites and client requirements

Salary & Benefits

• BD 350 – 450 (up to BD 500 depending on experience)
