Maintenance Engineer Civil

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer – Civil to oversee and manage the maintenance of building structures, civil works, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of building repair, preventive maintenance, and civil engineering practices, with at least 5 years of experience in the construction/building industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and execute civil maintenance activities for buildings and infrastructure.
• Inspect and monitor the condition of civil structures (e.g., slabs, walls, beams, columns, plastering, flooring, roofing).
• Diagnose issues such as cracks, dampness, leakages, and deterioration, and propose effective repair methods.
• Ensure timely completion of civil maintenance and repair works with minimal disruption to operations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments for repair and restoration work.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, service reports, and repair works.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and avoid major repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and relevant civil engineering codes.
• Estimate material requirements, labor, and costs for maintenance jobs.
• Supervise site activities and ensure work quality, safety, and timely completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• ITI in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil maintenance in the building/construction sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of building structures, finishing, and civil repair works.
• Familiarity with construction materials, repair techniques, waterproofing, and structural rehabilitation.
• Experience in reading technical drawings and executing work accordingly.
• Proficient in using MS Office and basic project scheduling tools.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple maintenance projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
