Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Fire Alarm Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical panels, distribution boards, and fire alarm systems
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in wiring, control systems, and fire detection devices
• Conduct inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA, BS, and LPCB standards
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and upgrades
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, compliance checks, and system performance
• Support emergency response protocols and ensure readiness of fire safety systems
• Assist in planning and implementing system upgrades and energy-saving initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, with proven expertise in fire alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of local and international fire safety codes and electrical standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong communication and reporting abilities
• UPDA/QCDD Approved
• Certification in fire alarm systems or electrical safety is a plus
