Maintenance Engineer- Injection Molding

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician for plastic injection moulding machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, and supporting production by maintaining equipment in optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plastic injection mouldin machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Independently set and maintain machine parameters for materials such as PP, PE, ABS, PC, TPE, etc.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Ensure proper functioning of mold cooling, heating, and hydraulic systems.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and ensuring machines run efficiently.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts inventory.
• Knowledge of post-moulding processes to recover defective parts will be an added advantage.
• Experience in handling large injection molding machines (650 tons and above) preferred.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements:

Diploma or BE in electrical / Mechanical having 3 to 4 years experience in injection molding machine maintenance.Candidates should be able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic diagram and solve problems of the machine.Service engineer of any OEM of injection molding machine are preferable.

• Strong knowledge of machine troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls.
• Ability to work independently and handle machine breakdowns under pressure.
• Team player with good communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts if required.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with PLC-based machines and automation systems.
• Knowledge of auxiliary equipment (chillers, compressors, dryers, conveyors, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
