Maintenance Engineer : (Mechanical)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will focus on preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in machinery
• Plan and execute maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history
• Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and calibration of machinery
• Coordinate with production and electrical teams for smooth operations
• Supervise technicians and contractors during maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance machine reliability
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of safety practices and maintenance standards

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance (manufacturing / plant environment preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
