Maintenance Engineer – Poly & SSP

Gatron (Industries) Limited , one of the leading manufacturing companies operating in Pakistan, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer – Poly & SSP to join our team at our plant located in HUB Chowki .

Position Summary

The position is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring mechanical maintenance activities to ensure smooth plant operations. The incumbent will focus on minimizing equipment downtime, addressing mechanical faults, and ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular plant inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure smooth functioning of equipment.
• Execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with approved procedures and safety policies.
• Prepare and maintain reports including breakdown reports, inspection reports, maintenance logs, and job schedules.
• Ensure timely execution of job orders while adhering to HSE and operational standards.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to maintenance staff, ensuring effective utilization of resources.
• Monitor and manage inventory of lubricants, spare parts, and maintenance materials.
• Identify and recommend replacement of faulty or obsolete mechanical components.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure cost-effective and efficient plant operations.
• Create maintenance notifications, refurbishment orders, and maintenance orders based on equipment condition.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure proper planning for spares and services.
• Develop plans for material, labor, and service utilization, including procurement decisions.
• Initiate and manage calibration processes and schedules for equipment.
• Ensure accurate recording of measuring documents and system parameters.
• Execute maintenance orders and ensure proper closure, including service confirmations and documentation.
• Inspect spare parts and verify certifications (CoA), reporting any defects or non-compliance.
• Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to all HSE standards.

Requirements

Qualification: DAE / B-Tech Mechanical or relevant field

Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
