Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer experienced with rotating and static equipment to lead maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement activities. The role will ensure equipment availability, optimize preventive and corrective maintenance, and support safe, cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for rotating (pumps, compressors, turbines, motors) and static (vessels, heat exchangers, piping, tanks) equipment.
• Perform root-cause failure analysis (RCFA) and lead corrective action implementation.
• Plan and supervise mechanical overhauls, alignment, balancing, and shop/field repairs.
• Coordinate condition monitoring activities (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) and act on findings.
• Prepare work orders, maintenance schedules, spare-parts lists, and rotables management plans.
• Support shutdowns/turnarounds: scope definition, manpower planning, execution oversight, and post-shutdown reports.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with HSE standards and company procedures.
• Liaise with operations, procurement, and engineering for equipment upgrades, reliability projects, and technical specifications.
• Maintain maintenance records, KPI tracking (MTBF, MTTR, availability), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to maintenance technicians.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in rotating and static equipment maintenance, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, seals, gearboxes, couplings, alignment, and welding/fit-up practices.
• Experience with condition monitoring tools and interpretation (vibration, thermography, oil analysis).
• Familiarity with CMMS (SAP, MAXIMO or equivalent) for work-order management.
• Proven experience in turnaround/shutdown planning and execution.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is advantageous.
• Certifications such as API, ISO, or specialized reliability/condition-monitoring credentials are a plus.
