ey Responsibilities:1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of all electrical and mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, schedules, and work performed.
- Minimize downtime by responding quickly to equipment failures and breakdowns.
2. Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Diagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, bearings, sensors, wiring, PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
3. Installation & Commissioning
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical standards during installations.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all health and safety policies, regulations, and standards.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe maintenance practices at all times.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs for breakdowns, repairs, spares usage, and inspection reports.
- Assist in creating maintenance SOPs and checklists.
6. Coordination
- Liaise with production and other departments to plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or equipment servicing.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years in a maintenance role within a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of both electrical (motors, panels, PLCs, wiring) and mechanical systems (pumps, conveyors, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Proficient in using maintenance tools, instruments, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in PLC programming, industrial safety, or reliability engineering.
- Experience with lean maintenance practices and 5S methodology.
Working Conditions:
- May require shift work or on-call availability during weekends or holidays.
- Work may involve standing, climbing, and exposure to noise, dust, and high-voltage equipment.
