The Department of Local Services (DLS) is seeking a strategic, analytical, and collaborative leader to serve as a Maintenance Finance & Work Program Analyst (Business & Finance Officer III) within the Director’s Office to support our Maintenance Road program. This high-impact role sits at the center of maintenance operations, financial strategy, and executive decision-making, guiding biennial budget development, work program planning, cost recovery oversight, and performance analysis for a complex and service-driven organization. INTERVIEW SCHEDULE:
Those applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in a 15-minute phone interview the week of 3/23/26.
If you are selected to move forward after the phone interview, you will be invited for a 45-minute virtual/in-person interview the week of 3/30/26.

WORK SCHEDULE: The work week is normally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may at times require work outside of normal business hours. This position is Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
We work in the office at least three days a week to foster connection and responsiveness, arrive prepared and on time, and structure meetings with clear goals and next steps. Meetings may occur at Renton Maintenance Facility located at 155 Monroe Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056, USA or King Street Center located at 201 S Jackson St Seattle, WA 98104.
EMERGENCY DESIGNATION STATUS: This position has been designated Mission-Critical - Those employees who provide, maintain, and re-establish essential county functions as described in agency Continuity of Operations plans.
Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather.
