Maintenance Fitter

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Attend and rectify breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.
• Install, dismantle, align, and assemble mechanical parts and machinery.
• Carry out repair work on gearboxes, pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, bearings, and shafts.
• Ensure proper lubrication of machines as per maintenance schedules.
• Read and understand mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and breakdown reports.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE during all maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with production and electrical maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping in the maintenance area.
• Support improvement activities to enhance machine efficiency and reduce breakdowns.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in handling hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, couplings, and hydraulics/pneumatics (basic).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults effectively.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
