Maintenance Handyman

Job Summary

Sawyer Services LLC is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform residential and light commercial maintenance, repair, and HVAC-related tasks. This role is ideal for a self-motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work including:
• Drywall repair, painting, trim, and carpentry
• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Door, window, fixture, and hardware repairs
• HVAC maintenance and basic troubleshooting (experience preferred)
• Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Complete work orders accurately using company software
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Use company tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly

Requirements

• 2+ years of maintenance, handyman, or related trade experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and repairs
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance (uniforms are provided)

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school or technical training
• Experience with residential or commercial property maintenance
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Customer service or in-home service experience
• HVAC experience or EPA certification is a plus

Schedule

• Monday–Friday 8am-5pm (some overtime or emergency calls as needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
