Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement maintenance procedures, plan preventive maintenance schedules, and set department goals (KPIs).
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate maintenance technicians; ensure proper workload distribution.
- Operations Management: Oversee all repair, installation, and upkeep activities; conduct facility inspections; manage spare parts inventory.
- Budget & Resources: Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and procure necessary tools, equipment, or materials.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies and standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with other departments to schedule work and minimize operational disruptions.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate with and manage external contractors and service providers.
