Job Summary
Della Resorts & Adventure is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician with a hospitality background to support the maintenance and smooth operation of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems across luxury hotel rooms, restaurants, banquets, and adventure facilities. The candidate should have 1–2 years of hands-on experience and be capable of delivering prompt, guest-oriented technical service in a resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF units, split ACs, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of air-conditioning equipment in guest rooms, villas, kitchens, laundry, and public areas.
- Attend HVAC-related breakdown calls and ensure minimum downtime with quick resolution.
- Monitor temperature, humidity, and air quality parameters as per hospitality standards.
- Clean filters, coils, drains, ducts, and grills on scheduled basis.
- Maintain daily log sheets for equipment readings and energy consumption.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and F&B teams to plan maintenance without disturbing guests.
- Support banquet and event operations by ensuring proper cooling in function venues.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and resort engineering SOPs.
- Assist senior engineers in installation and commissioning of new HVAC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and environmental norms applicable to hotel industry.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of electrical controls, thermostats, compressors, and refrigerants.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings and service manuals.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Hospitality mindset with focus on guest comfort and response time.
- Team player willing to work in rotational shifts.
- Understanding of energy conservation practices in hotels.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning / Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in hotel or resort engineering department preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years relevant HVAC experience.
