Job Description: MAINTENANCE INCHARGE
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, HVAC
systems, water systems, and utility machinery.
- Ensure minimal downtime and smooth functioning of production lines.
- Maintain and update maintenance records as per GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams for maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Handle calibration of instruments and validation of critical equipment.
- Supervise maintenance staff and allocate tasks effectively.
- Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for repair and procurement.
- Prepare maintenance reports, breakdown analyses, and improvement plans.
- Support audits (regulatory, GMP, ISO) by ensuring equipment readiness and documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical machinery, utilities, and HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and regulatory compliance.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership and team management ability.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in maintenance within a pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC, purified water systems, boilers, air compressors, and packaging
machinery preferred.
