About the Role

Red Grasshopper is looking for two experienced Maintenance Landscapers to join our team. This role is focused on high-quality property aesthetics—specifically specializing in professional mulch application and detailed site cleanups.

We aren't just looking for laborers; we need "curb appeal experts" who take pride in the finishing touches that make a landscape stand out.

Key Responsibilities

• Professional Mulching: Measure, haul, and spread various types of mulch (hardwood, cedar, dyed) at the correct depth and with clean edge definition.
• Site Cleanup & Maintenance: Perform comprehensive seasonal cleanups, including leaf removal, weeding, and debris clearing from flower beds and hardscapes.
• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently use power blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and wheelbarrows.
• Loading & Unloading: Assist in the manual loading and unloading of materials, tools, and green waste from trucks and trailers.
• Quality Control: Ensure all sites are left in "pristine" condition, with no stray mulch on walkways or debris left behind.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of professional landscaping experience specifically focused on maintenance and mulch installation.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for 8–10 hours a day in various weather conditions (heat, light rain, etc.).
• Lifting Capability: Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50+ lbs.
• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for "straight lines" and tidy edges; you should be bothered by a messy flower bed!
• Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and able to represent Red Grasshopper professionally while on client sites.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the shop or job sites is highly preferred.
