Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance and Landscaping Specialist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a wide range of landscaping, gardening, and maintenance tasks to ensure our properties are inviting and well-kept. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge, landscaping skills, and proficiency with hand tools and power equipment to deliver exceptional outdoor environments that enhance curb appeal and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration to maintain lush, healthy turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrubbery care to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate landscaping equipment including excavators, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through routine inspections and repairs.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for all users.
• Support construction projects related to outdoor improvements or repairs while adhering to safety standards.
• Perform general maintenance duties on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members on landscape design projects or seasonal planting initiatives.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating power tools, hand tools, excavators, or other landscaping machinery.
• Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with tree care practices such as trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, hardscape installation or repair, and horticulture principles is a plus.
• Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction and outdoor maintenance activities.
