Maintenance Manager

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Manager to assess the maintenance operations of our restaurants and building facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, kitchen systems, HVAC, plumbing, and building structures are properly maintained and in compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple restaurant locations and associated buildings.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and structural components.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards applicable to restaurants and commercial buildings.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, asset history, and service schedules using other tracking tools.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, and coordinate procurement when necessary.
• Train and supervise a team of technicians or support staff where applicable.
• Conduct routine inspections of restaurant equipment, ventilation, and fire safety systems.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a maintenance management role, preferably within the F&B or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with restaurant and operations teams.
• Flexible and willing to respond to maintenance issues outside of standard working hours when needed.
