Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all facility operations and ensuring that systems and equipment operate at peak efficiency while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards. This role focuses on maximizing asset readiness, reducing equipment downtime, and enhancing operational performance by implementing robust preventive maintenance plans and effective corrective actions. The position also involves developing the maintenance team, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring business continuity through superior maintenance management.
Responsibilities:
Monitor technical performance and address operational issues immediately.
Assign tasks to technicians and ensure all work is completed with the required quality standards.
Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
Supervise all maintenance operations (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and facilities).
Develop and implement the annual preventive maintenance plan for all facilities.
Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs.
Follow up on periodic inspection schedules and equipment performance indicators.
Prepare monthly reports on facility conditions, breakdowns, and maintenance progress.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure repairs are carried out of high quality.
Analyze the root causes of failures and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
Lead and develop a team of technicians and supervisors.
Monitor the condition of assets and equipment and update related records.
Track resource consumption and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, Industrial Engineering, or any related field).
A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in maintenance or facilities management.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and fast decision-making skills.
Proficiency in using maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Strong project management skills across multiple facilities or locations.
Excellent planning and work prioritization abilities.
Proficiency in preparing technical reports and presenting recommendations.
Data-driven decision-making and KPI-based performance evaluation.
Effective communication skills with internal departments and external vendors.
