Maintenance Manager

Department: Maintenance

Location: Seepz-Andheri, Mumbai

Reports To: Sr. Manager Production

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machinery Maintenance & Operation

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of all production machinery:

• Coil winding machines (manual and automatic)
• Soldering and welding equipment
• Stamping, molding, and assembly lines
• Relay testing and calibration systems (high precision)

Ensure machines operate within tight tolerances required for aerospace-grade relays.

Plan and implement maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.

2. Process Improvement & Reliability

• Analyze machine performance to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
• Implement predictive maintenance using vibration analysis, thermal monitoring, and other modern techniques.
• Collaborate with Production & Quality teams to improve product yield and consistency.

3. Compliance & Quality Standards

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent aerospace quality standards.
• Maintain calibration and certification of testing instruments for aerospace relay requirements.

4. Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise, mentor, and train maintenance staff in precision electronic manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment servicing.

5. Inventory & Vendor Management

• Maintain spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
• Liaise with OEMs and vendors for repairs, upgrades, and technical support.

Qualifications & Requirements: -

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 12+ years of maintenance experience in precision electronics or relay manufacturing, preferably aerospace/aviation applications.
• Expertise in coil winding, soldering, stamping, molding, and relay testing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing equipment/ Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLC-based systems, process automation, and precision measurement instruments.
• Familiarity with aerospace-quality standards and documentation practices.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
