Role Purpose:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, team development, and continuous improvement of maintenance practices to support operational excellence and asset reliability. You will lead and manage the maintenance department, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute the maintenance engineering strategy aligned with manufacturing and business goals.

Develop annual and long-term maintenance plans, including CAPEX needs in partnership with Operations and Projects.

Ensure all assets, equipment, and facilities are maintained safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with GMP, HSE, food safety, and quality standards.

Drive uptime improvement and minimize unplanned downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance.

Lead all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities; optimize workforce planning and contractor performance.

Ensure effective use of tools, materials, and spare parts to improve efficiency and cost control.

Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and project costs.

Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement, and resource allocation to ensure operational continuity.

Track and improve key maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, schedule compliance).

Enhance equipment reliability and sustainability performance through continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance systems.

Deliver assigned engineering and maintenance projects on time and within budget.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support plant upgrades, expansions, and technical initiatives.
Experience:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Strong command of maintenance engineering, asset management, and equipment reliability.

Deep understanding of maintenance KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, schedule compliance, and related optimization tools.

Knowledge of energy management, sustainability practices, and cost-reduction methodologies.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, influence stakeholders, and improve operational performance.
