Role Overview:
Experienced Mechanical Engineer and Maintenance Supervisor leading maintenance operations. Expert in preventive, corrective, and overhaul maintenance, ensuring optimal equipment performance, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead a team of up to 30 technicians, including mechanics, electricians, welders, and skilled helpers, coordinating daily workflows, job allocation, and manpower management.
- Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for LDVs, HDVs, diesel generators, centrifugal pumps, welding machines, air compressors, and fire tenders.
- Maintain 100% commitment to HSE standards through in-house training, Toolbox Talks, risk assessments, spot checks, and emergency drills.
- Manage inventory, raise work orders, and coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams for seamless material and spare parts management.
- Monitor equipment conditions continuously, prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, and communicate updates to upper management.
- Resolve maintenance challenges by collaborating with department heads and implementing innovative solutions.
- Ensure quality control for all inward and outgoing workshop goods and conduct contractor equipment inspections.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to Lifting, Logistics, and Transportation departments.
- Support site administration with rotation rosters, workforce trackers, and emergency response planning.
