Position : Maintenance Manager
Qualification : BE - Mechanical
Location : Vadodara ( Manjusar )
Experience : 8 to10 years
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager - Maintenance is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and
supervision of all maintenance activities within the manufacturing facility. This includes
mechanical maintenance to ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all plant
equipment and infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintenance Strategy & Planning:
- Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive preventive, predictive, and
- breakdown maintenance programs for all plant machinery, equipment, and utility
- systems.
- Forecast and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of
- resources without compromising safety or quality.
2. Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of
- maintenance engineers, supervisors, and technicians and fitters
3. Mechanical Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors,
- agitators, centrifuges, gearboxes etc), static equipment (reactors, heat exchangers,
- pressure vessels, tanks), piping, and material handling systems.
- Ensure proper alignment, lubrication, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring for
- critical mechanical assets.
- Manage welding, fabrication, and structural repair activities.
4. Spares Management & Procurement:
- Optimize spare parts inventory management to ensure availability of critical spares
- while minimizing holding costs.
- Coordinate with the procurement department for timely sourcing of quality spares,
- tools, and services.
- Evaluate vendors and contractors for maintenance-related services.
5. Continuous Improvement & Reliability Engineering:
- Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis (RCA)
- techniques to identify and eliminate recurring failures.
- Drive initiatives for maintenance cost reduction, energy conservation, and efficiency
- improvement.
- Promote the adoption of new maintenance technologies and best practices (e.g.,
- predictive maintenance tools).
