Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Calicut

Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), civil, electrical, and swimming pool maintenance activities to ensure the safe, smooth, and uninterrupted operation of all facilities, rides, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, team leadership, vendor coordination, statutory compliance, safety management, and efficient resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Operations (MEP, Civil, Electrical & Pool)
Plan, schedule, and oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, and pool maintenance activities.
Ensure smooth functioning of all rides, machinery, electrical systems, water supply, drainage, HVAC, pumps, filtration systems, and swimming pools.
Carry out and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical panels, motors, pumps, pipelines, civil structures, and pool equipment.
Ensure proper water quality management, filtration, chemical dosing, and hygiene standards for swimming pools.
2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
Lead, guide, and supervise the maintenance team including technicians, electricians, plumbers, mechanics, civil workers, and pool attendants.
Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure quality and timely completion of work.
Conduct regular training on technical skills, safety procedures, MEP systems, and pool maintenance practices.
3. Safety, Statutory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, statutory requirements, and local regulations.
Maintain safety checklists, inspection records, permits, and compliance documentation.
Conduct periodic safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections of electrical systems, civil structures, and pool areas.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate hazards and ensure guest and employee safety.
4. Vendor, Contractor & AMC Coordination
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for civil works, electrical repairs, MEP services, pool maintenance, and AMC activities.
Evaluate vendor performance, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
Ensure timely completion of outsourced jobs and availability of materials and spare parts.
5. Documentation, Reporting & Inventory Control
Maintain detailed logs for maintenance schedules, breakdowns, repairs, and equipment performance.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management review.
Monitor spare parts, chemicals, tools, and consumables inventory; raise purchase requests when required.
6. Budget & Resource Management
Plan and manage the maintenance budget covering MEP, civil, electrical, and pool operations.
Optimize manpower, materials, and energy usage to control costs.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or service quality.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / MEP Engineering or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in amusement parks, resorts, hospitality, malls, manufacturing units, or similar environments.
Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, civil maintenance, electrical installations, and swimming pool operations.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience in ride maintenance and pool system operations (filtration, dosing, pumps).
Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance management software.
Ability to handle emergency breakdowns, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
